## Introduction[]

This blog will contain most - maybe potentially all - the relevant calculations for this series that could be used for blogs. Some of them will be taken/inspired by VS Battles Wiki's calculations so credit goes to them for similarities/copies. Some, however, are done by myself.

## Volume 1 Calculations[]

### Akuto blows up his classroom[]

In Volume 1 of Demon King Daimaou Akuto Sai creates an explosion that blows up the classroom.

In Volume 2 we find out that the explosion had seven kilos of force per square cm. (6.864655 bars)

First, we need to find the size of the classroom. In Volume 8 Junko was sitting near a window, so I will start by measuring a single glass square.

Average Iris size: 12 mm in Diameter (17px)

1 px = 0.705882353 mm

Window Glass: 338 px (23.8588235 cm)

Akuto blows up his classroom

Next Up we calculate the classrooms size.

17 px = 23.8588235 cm

1 px = 1.40346021 cm

Accounting for 3 windows, since Etou and Korone are standing in the middle, as well as the distance between the windows, we get a total classroom diameter of 826 px or 1159.25813 cm

Explosion Radius in meters: 5.79629065

Since the anime and manga depicts a small crater, I will be using this formula:

- W = R^3*((27136*P+8649)^(1/2)/13568-93/13568)^2, where W is the yield in tons of TNT, R is the radius in meters, and P is the shockwave pressure in bars, where we generally use 1.37895 bars or 20 psi of pressure. For this specific formula, there is no need to divide the result by 2.

Calculation: 5.79629065^3*((27136*6.864655+8649)^(1/2)/13568-93/13568)^2 = 0.128481729 Tons of TNT (**Small Building level**)

### Akuto creates an explosion 10 meters in diameter[]

In Volume 2 we find out that the explosion had seven kilos of force per square cm. (6.864655 bars)

Since the explosion was on the ground and left a crater, I will be using this formula:

- W = R^3*((27136*P+8649)^(1/2)/13568-93/13568)^2, where W is the yield in tons of TNT, R is the radius in meters, and P is the shockwave pressure in bars, where we generally use 1.37895 bars or 20 psi of pressure. For this specific formula, there is no need to divide the result by 2.

Calculation: 5^(3)×((27136×6.864655+8649)^(1÷2)÷13568-93÷13568)^(2) = 0.0824709358241 Tons of TNT (**Small Building level**)

Pretty consistent with the first feat lol

## Volume 2 Calculations[]

### Akuto creates a typhoon[]

Credit goes to DontTalkDT on VSBW for this.

The speed of the wind is stated to be like a Typhoon, which would I assume is at least 62 km/h. Alternatively Akuto created something similar to a tornado here, which was strong enough to destroy the building, which means it's probably at F3 on the Fujita scale. So, for a high end I will use 254 km/h as a high end.

62 km/h = 17.2222 m/s, 254 km/h = 70.5556 m/s

In regard to the memorial buildings size the following was stated:

“ | Once they reached the bottom of the stairs, it opened up into a fairly wide area, large enough to fit an entire soccer stadium. The ceiling was quite high, too, enough to fit a five story building. There were lights there as well, but they weren’t bright enough to clearly illuminate the whole place. | „ |

So at least 100m x 64m as per FIFA regulations. That gives us a base area of 6400 m^2.

As for the height it was said that a 5-story building would fit into the room. A story is around 4.3 meters high, so we will go with 21.5m for the height.

That gives us a volume of 6400*21.5 = 137600 m^3 Density of air is around 1.2 kg/m^3, so the air mass of the room is 1.2*137600 = 165120 kg

Now I will do a simple KE calc for the feat of producing that air current.

### Low End[]

0.5*165120*17.2222^2 = 2.44876405096704e7 J (**Small Building level**)

### High End[]

0.5*165120*70.5556^2 = 4.109913325986816e8 J (**Small Building level**)

## Volume 4 Calculations[]

### Boichiro Yamato speed blitzes Akuto[]

In Volume 4 of Demon King Daimaou Boichiro fights Akuto, and basically destroys him. I will be calculating this using the anime.

This feat happens in the Anime episode 10 at the 6:05 mark.

I will have 2 ends for this calculation, low-end and high-end.

**Low-End**

I will use Subsonic perception first since he scales to Lily who is FTE which is 0.00583 seconds.

Boichiro's height is 81 pixels, and an average japanese man is 171.2 cm.

1 pixel = 2.1135802469 cm

The distance between Boichiro and Akuto = 317 pixels or 670.00493827 cm

Calculation: 670.00493827/0.00583 = 1,149.24 m/s m/s or Mach 3.34985423 (**Supersonic+**)

**High-End**

For the High-End I will use Subsonic+ perception, which is 0.0032 seconds. The reasoning is simple. He is by this point far faster than Lily who back in V2 could move before Junko could react (Subsonic) and Akuto can easily catch her fists after they fire. (Also, the narrator compares Lily's punch to the speed of a bullet)

Calculation: 670.00493827/0.0032 = 2,093.77 m/s or Mach 6.10428571 (**Hypersonic**)

## Volume 5 calculations[]

### Akuto lifts Genkaku[]

Time to quantify lifting strength.

The aircraft is stated to be 350 meter long. This is the biggest aircraft I could find.

It is 84 meters long and weighs 285000 kg.

We will upscale this, meaning we assume the density stays about the same with volume increase.

350/84 = 4.1666666666666667 = Upscale Factor

4.1666666666666667^3 *285000 = 2.0616319444444444939236e7 kg

**Class M** Lifting Strength

The energy needed to lift such an airplane by, say, 1 meter would be

m*g*h = 2.0616319444444444939236e7 * 9.81* 1 = 2.022e8 J (**Small Building level**)

### Brave's Plasma Explosion[]

**Radius of the cloud**

First, we'll use Angular size.

I'll consider the clouds are Stratocolumbus which have an altitude of around 1250 meters.

The panel length (orange line) is **1366 px**

The radius of this thing (green line) is **946 px**

Object size = 2*tan(70deg/2) * distance from point of view to object * object height in pixels / panel height in pixels

Radius = 2*tan(35)*1250*946/1366

Radius = **1212.2919676915446559 meters**

**Cloud's Thickness**

I'll also use angular size here given we know the radius

The panel height here is **768 px**

The Cloud's thickness is **11 px**

Object size = 2*tan(70deg/2) * distance from point of view to object * object height in pixels / panel height in pixels

Thickness = 2*tan(35)*1212.2919676915446559*11/768

Thickness: **24.3161867634885071394 meters**, yikes

I'll get the volume later on.

**Ball's Diameter**

I'll also go and get the meters per pixel to find out the radius of that giant yellow ball

It gives us **1.2814925662701317716 meters** **per pixel**

The giant ball is 202 px, giving us **258.8614983865666178632 meters** for its diameter.

**Space that was left**

Alright, so, this space wasn't full of clouds, some wasn't there, let's find out how much wasn't there shall we?

Alright, so, hear me out, the angle is the same, the only thing that changes is the fact that the camera moves up, but that doesn't change the angle, so we can use this for pixel scaling.

The Ball's Diameter (Still purple) is 513 px, giving us **0.5046033106950616332616 meters per pixel.**

The Orange line is 337 px, giving us 170.0513157042357704091592 meters for the diameter and **85.0256578521178852045796** meters for the radius

That means our final radius is:

1212.2919676915446559-85.0256578521178852045796 = **1127.2663098394267706954204 meters**

**Time Frame and Speed**

So, using the same time frame there, 1.16 seconds and using or radius of 1127 meters we find that the speed is:

S = 1127.2663098394267706954204/1.16

S = **971.7813015857127333581210345 m/s**

**Volume and KE**

Using a Cylinder, with our radius being 1127.2663098394267706954204 meters and our height being 24.3161867634885071394 meter we get a volume of:

**97072988.102231 meters ^{3}**

Density of the cloud is 1.003 kg/m^3

That means our mass is **97364207.066537693 kg**

KE = 1/12*97364207.066537693*(971.7813015857127333581210345^2)

KE = 7.6622296084e12 joules or **1.831316828 Kilotons of TNT**, **Small Town Level**

## Volume 7 Calculations[]

### Chimera monster creates an earthquake[]

I've been reading DKD again and interesting feat happened. A giant monster in VPS awakens, causes a shake that splits the earth several hundreds meters long and wide. I will be calculating this feat.

The shake created a massive crack in the ground, basically a ravine or something. So, because of that I will use Magnitude 8, since it's described as "severe destruction and loss of life over large areas." After all, it created a giant hole at least several hundred meters long and wide, with potentially the same depth if not bigger, as at the end of it was a giant monster the size of building. (It appeared small initially due to it's depth)

So, let's begin the calculations.

Earthquake Calculations.

For r < 60km: In this case the formula is (Magnitude at distance) + 0.0238*r = Richter Magnitude of Earthquake

"Several" is 3 but not many, so the Earthquake affected at least the radius of 300 meters.

(8)+0.0238×8 = 8.00714

Artificial quake formula: 10^(1.5*(Richter Magnitude)+4.8) = Energy in Joules

10^(1.5*(8.00714)+4.8) = 6.46710631E16 Joules or 15.456755043 Megatons of TNT. (**City level**)

## Volume 9 Calculations[]

### Empress Kazuko Suicide Move[]

0.5 km radius explosion. Simple.

((0.5/0.28)^3)/1000 = 0.0056942419825073 Megatons of TNT = 5.6942419825073 kilotons of TNT.

Half of that, due to not being nuclear, gives 2.84712099125365 kilotons of TNT. **Small Town level** (almost+)

### Zero's fist[]

Zero is 10 times larger than Akuto.

First let's figure out the Volume of Zero's leg then. According to this (page 44+) the mean volume of a leg is 9.955 liters = 0.009955 m^3In that case the volume of Zero's leg should be around 10^3 times higher than that, so 9.955 m^3.

With Zero being a futuristic I will assume he is made from aluminium, as an example for a lightweight metal.

Density of aluminium is 2700 kg/m^3.

With that the mass of Zero's leg is 2700 * 9.955 = 26878.5 kg

His leg movement is stated to break the sound barrier, so we can do a KE calc using the speed of sound, which is 343 m/s.

0.5*26878.5*(343)^2 = 1.58111432325e9 J (**Building level**)

## Volume 12 Calculations[]

### Akuto's potential power[]

In Volume 12 Akuto absorbs all of the Empires mana and can utilize it.

In Volume 2 we find out that his explosions, even on the weaker end of the deal, had seven kilos of force per square cm. (6.864655 bars)

Wikipedia says that Japan's archipelago is 3000km long. I will use that for his AP.Since most of his explosions are on the ground, I will be using this formula:

- W = R^3*((27136*P+8649)^(1/2)/13568-93/13568)^2, where W is the yield in tons of TNT, R is the radius in meters, and P is the shockwave pressure in bars, where we generally use 1.37895 bars or 20 psi of pressure. For this specific formula, there is no need to divide the result by 2.
