7. PANTAGRAPH, Thursday, Jan. 30, Marvin D. Jardine SAUNEMIN Marvin D. Jar dine, 51, of Saunemin, a mechanic and partsman, died at 10:50 p.m.

Tuesday (Jan. 28, 1992) at Saint James Hospital, Pontiac, after a short illness. His funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. John's Catholic Church, Cullom, the Rev.

Charles E. Karl officiating. Burial will be in Sunny Slope Cemetery, Saunemin. Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. today at Stewart Funeral Home, Cullom, where a prayer service will be at 8:30 tonight.

Mr. Jardine was born June 15, 1940, at Gibson City, a son of Robert E. and Gladys Kaiser Jardine. He married Rita E. Shambrook April 18, 1960, at Roberts.

She survives. Other survivors include his mother, Crescent City; two sons, Jeff, Pontiac, and Jim, Saunemin; two daughters, Debbie Aberle, Chatsworth, and Michelle Jardine, Saunemin; one sister, Margy Curtis, Paris, and seven grandchildren. His father preceded him in death. A 1959 graduate of RobertsThawville High School, Mr. Jardine had been employed since February 1988 at A Service Center, Ottawa.

Previously, he had worked at Fickwiler's, Auto, Melvin; Fraher Ford, Pontiac; Roy Parson Trucking, Pontiac; Bloomington Truck Parts; Ashkum Ford; and Schein Parts Division, Carlinville. He also had been a partner in Sales and Service, Pontiac. He served in the Army from 1960 to 1963 and was a social member of the Pontiac Veterans of Foreign Wars. Mr. Jardine was a member of St.

John's Catholic Church, Cullom, and earlier had attended Zion Lutheran Church, Chebanse. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice. Martha M. Martin CLINTON Martha Marie Martin, 56, a Clinton native, died at 4:25 a.m. yesterday (Jan.

29, 1992) at her home in Clinton. She had been ill. Her graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Memorial Park Cemetery, Clinton, the Rev. Billy Bell officiating.

Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday at Herington-Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton. Mrs. Martin was born Oct. 13, 1935, at Clinton, a daughter of Lyle and Zelma Rousey Evans.

She married Henry L. Martin Sept. 1, 1962, a at Clinton. He survives. Other survivors include one son, Robert Burke, Clinton; one brother, Gene Evans, Clinton; two sisters, Donna a Robinson and Beverly Moore, both of Clinton.

She survives. Other survivors include two sons, Robert Bingham, and John two daughters, Norma K. Fish, Clyde, Ohio, and Mildred A. Byers, Buffalo; 15 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by four brothers and four sisters.

She was born Jan. 27, 1915, in Colfax, a daughter of Charles A. and Ida F. Baird Morgan. She married Lauvern F.

Atkins Aug. 22, 1939, in Clinton, Iowa. He survives. Other survivors include one son, Richard Kenner, Durham, N.C.; six daughters, Betty Wheeler, Champaign; Rita Baylor, Muncie, Carol Birch, Penfield; Linda Stonestreet, Lake Ozark, Donna Livingston, Rantoul; and Barbara Reynolds, Gifford; 21 grandchildren; six greatgrandchildren; and one sister, Alvin Smith, Wausau, Ind. Two brothers and one sister preceded her in death.

She spent her early years in McLean and Ford counties, where she attended school. She was a homemaker. Before moving to Gifford she lived at R.R. 1, Penfield. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, Penfield, having served on the church board and was a member of the United Methodist Women.

Mr. Fosdick, who was educated in Pontiac schools and 1 graduated from Pontiac Township High School, was a machinist for a plastics company.

Schall was born Nov. 16, 1937, in Lincoln, a daughter of Earl and Mary Culnan Schmidt. She married Wayne Schall Dec. 13, 1958, in Clinton. He survives.

Other survivors include her father, Earl Schmidt, Lincoln; three daughters, Susan Tibbs, Middletown; Sandra Danley, New Holland; and Sharon Schall, Lincoln; two brothers, Edward Schmidt, St. Louis, and Richard Schmidt, Lincoln; two sisters, Linda Myers, Kenney, and Alice Jensen, Lincoln; and two granddaughters.
